Scared Money Don't Make None

There was Memphis. There was Syracuse. There was Pittsburgh. There were a slew of teams that failed in the tourney. And the end result is that I'm failing at picking brackets this year. The last three have been good showings for me, but alas, this year I give it an epic fail rating. This is why I don't put money on things. Thankfully, it was a very, very small sum.

By the way Jayson, I'll mail you a check. I'm good for it. I think.

All Things BCS Championship Related

Yeah, it's a little late, but I was upset at the outcome of the game. I wanted both teams to lose. Not to mention that the announcing was some of the worst EVER.

"Big decision time here...do you go for it on 4th down?"- Brennaman
"Go, go, go ,go go"- Charles Davis on third and goal

"I got so excited, I thought they were going on 4th down twice!"- Thom Brennaman
"I should have been there to help you partner."- Charles Davis

Baylor Basketball

My friend went to Baylor and is an advocate of sorts for their basketball program. I like to give him a hard time about Baylor every chance I get.

Well the men's team was annihilated in the first round. BUT, the women's team has managed to make it to the second round of play in the Women's NCAA tournament. I theorize that their cheerleaders also double as the women's basketball team. Just a thought.

Down With Duke

Ecstatic. Duke gets beat by Clemson. Although Duke will still make it to the tourney, they still got beat by CLEMSON. 78-74 was the final score. And I can't say how excited I am that the always-overrated Duke (and there crappy, overrated players who generally suck in the NBA) got whomped on.
