More Reasons Why ESPN Sucks

One of my favorite shows, PTI (Pardon the Interruption) just lost a ton of my respect [ESPN Lost my respect a long time ago].

The question was just posed: Who is more ready for the NFL: Lebron or Kobe?

WHAT?! Why is this getting actual coverage. This may be, and I stress may be blog worthy material, but it's certainly not national coverage worthy. RIDICULOUS! Is there nothing else to cover news wise??? Other than Lebron playing high school football, what makes this a debatable topic? On top of that, Kobe has never played organized football. So....what was the point of this topical discussion on ESPN?!?!? I think I'm going to go throw up now.

Car Jumping

Can we all agree that Kobe didn't really jump a car that was driving full speed at him? Please? Seriously, anyone who thought he actually jumped over a car that was driving at him, please, shoot yourself. In the head. And try not to miss, I don't want my taxes going to keeping you alive. Kobe did not jump over a car because: 1) he would not risk his own life with a car (albeit an expensive car) driving full speed at him, and 2) Nike, the Lakers, the NBA, and anyone else he has an endorsement would see that, and absolutely ream him. Please also notice that it was in promotion of a Nike shoe, furthering the idea that they would not endanger his life. Not saying that he couldn't jump over a car, but that he didn't jump over the car.
