Ummm...Did this Really Happen?
Considering I liked the original song...I kind of like Mr. Hudson's rendition....but this is a straight rip off isn't it? And Jay is just coming with zero fire.
Really though, why is Jay-Z suddenly dominating this blog?
How Un-Ill Jay-Z Can Be
I listened to Haters f/ Kanye West of the Blueprint 3. It's particularly awful.
Kanye comes super lazy, Jay-Z....even lazier. And the beat is garbage.
Maybe I'll change my mind down the road (things generally have to grow on me). But as of right now, really not feeling this song.
Just reminds me how great the Black Album really was. So concise. So dope.
You can hear the whole album here.

How Ill Jay-Z Can Be
Sometimes I forget. Especially considering Kingdom Come was not a very stellar album. Still, it had its gems.

Glenn Beck Cannot Spell; Is Not Creative; Is Borderline Retarded
Apparently you can get your own POLITICAL NEWS SHOW IF YOU CAN'T EVEN SPELL PROPERLY.
I hate this man. So. Much.
Interestingly enough, wikipedia does not reveal a college education. Instead, he went through a non-traditional program at Yale which involved him taking one theology class and then quitting.
Also, his website (which you can look up yourself because I refuse to link his crap on here) does not reveal a biography, which I suspect is largely in-part to him not having a college education.
And yet this man is allowed to "write" books.
This is why Foxnews and the media in general sucks.
In short, please go away Glenn Beck. And to quote Billy Madison "everyone in this room is now dumber having listened to you."

Missed Opportunities Vol. 1
There are so many times I wish my eyes were cameras and I could post pictures of things that I see.
Most recently, I saw a police car / taxi cab. Cruiser lights on top, police car up front. The back half was painted as a taxi cab and on the side it said "choose your ride." I was thoroughly amused by this. And I contemplated: (a) if this was a joke - I don't think it was; (b) if this was the vehicular mullet (business up front, party in the back); (c) why my eyes weren't cameras. Another reason my life sucks....

It's Only Right That I Return
...with this video. Amidst cover letters, resume updates, and applications applications applications, I've been buried up to my neck in busy-ness. Not to mention work, school and preparing for this semester's competitions. Why is it only right? Because college was a much simpler time. Also, I talked to my old neighbor Mike a few days ago and we both agreed that we were hella (read: "wicked" if I was a New Englander) psyched on this commercial.
It's been weird lately, I almost miss Massachusetts. It's probably the humidity which is mutating my brain or something. I talked to Erin for a long time today. She mentioned also almost missing Massachusetts and the friends she had there. As the discussion progressed, I noted that I'm only remembering the good times and I'm omitting all of the stuff I didn't like (e.g. the closed-off mentality, the lack of having a car, a majority of the people, blue-light laws - coincidentally they exist to some extent down here). Nevertheless, there were good times spent there. And I absolutely love this commerical.

Neglect
I've been neglecting this thing for a while. Other obligations and a lack of things to write about are strong contributors to my absence. At some point, I'll enact a resolution and make this blog what it was supposed to be.

It's Obviously Monday
My self-diagnosed ADD (read: over-stimulation) is acting up. But I'm dually excited and anxious about life right now.
1) write on for the journal is due sooner than later. It's 5-8 pages but I'm loathing it. A lot.
2) I will soon have a new running partner. Avery text yesterday and since we are now neighbors we will soon be running (slowly) together. As soon as my schedule clears up of course.
3) friends are coming to town. Finally, someone other than Rosie and Andrew are coming to see me. There's a long list of places to go and foods to eat.
4) last week of work. I'm over it. Totally; 100% over it. Not even sure I ever checked in.
5) waiting to hear back on an offer. Let's face facts, I'm bummed if I don't get an offer, but I'm tired of being in limbo. It's time to figure out if I need plan b. Or c.
