In a recent blunder, the US Air Force admitted they accidentally shipped parts for intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) to Taiwan instead of....helicopter batteries. Whoops....
I wonder what else has been accidentally shipped to other countries. Perhaps the Regan Administration could have argued "accidental" shipment of weapons during the Iran Contra affair. That would have been pretty swell. But alas, they did not.
Thankfully, we live with a military that is honest. "Hey guys....look. we kind of messed up and sent some pretty technilogical stuff to the wrong guys on accident. But don't worry they're just used for long-range missiles and it's only a fuse. It's not like we sent them nukes or something. Geez. get off of my back."
