Okay, I stand corrected. In the haste of the day, I posted without thoroughly reading the articles out there.
Here's the stats:
Dems:
- 140 Yes
- 95 No
Republicans:
- 65 Yes
- 133 No
So while the democrats suck for voting against it, the republicans really suck. Seriously! This Bill had Bush's backing and they couldn't even get in line.
In summation, the economy is screwed and neither party can get it together enough to help out.
And you wonder why the future looks bleak?

If I concede that Bush is bad can we all agree Pelosi is worse. She has clearly been over playing the political game. Bashing Republicans BEFORE the vote?!? Way to go, Nanc! I guess we can turn the lights and cameras in the Congress off again!
