Sure, I know what you are thinking: Here comes Jayson to Palin's Defense! Nope. That was crap. A couple of things: Ideas and methods for problem solving. I have a tendency to be aligned with fiscal conservatives and social moderates. Check for McCain. Can't wrap my head around Obama's way of thinking. That's just me. Media bias. Sure, she flubbed that in a big way. But is that how things are to be reported: with the chuckle under the breathe and the worst piece of tape. What about Biden's constant foot in month syndrome? And HE HAS Experience. Palin's only been in this for a short time. She is repressing her first instinct to answer the question, keeping in mind that all answers must be consistant with McCain's platform. You are studying law. An answer is only an opportunity for your opponent to attack you. She knows that every syllable is being recorded and is going to be picked apart. There is pressure. I know that you'll say, "Well, don't you think that there will be pressure as VP?" OF course! You have been interviewing lately. Isn't that process somewhat more unnerving than that of the actual job? Let's reserve judgement until the debate. If she screws that up, then this is all over.
I'm interviewing for internships. There are no internships for a VP. That's baptism by fire. You are officially off the deep-end if you can even attempt to defend the jibberish that came out of her mouth.
Guess Biden asking a man in a wheelchair to stand up or saying that President Roosevelt was talking to the American people on TV during the stock market crash when it was actually Hoover on the radio or when he said that paying taxes is somehow patroitic...
I also thought that I was fairly level headed in saying that it would be interesting to see how well she does in the debate. I concede that if she tanks this is over. With the economy in the toilet and the preception that she isn't ready, a poor performance in the debate will effectively end this race.
That being said, if she does well against Biden, would you be able to give her a fair look? It is just like me saying that you aren't capable because you don't have any experience either. She is a governor. I guess somehow that doesn't matter because it is Alaska. OR that it doesn't matter because it has only been twenty months. Somehow that still is experience, isn't it?

"Nope. That was crap."
I thought that was clear.
