Uhmmmm, What?!

I awoke this morning to a g-chat message from Zach, talking about McCain's VP choice. I was confused. Low and behold, McCain had in fact picked his running mate.....

The Pros for McCain - it's hard for Obama to attack Palin too much without hurting his chances with female voters on the fence. Appeals to Hillary supporters who are on the fence (and are bitter Hillary didn't get the nomination....)

The Cons for McCain - this women is hardly qualified to be VP, she is already being investigated for ethics, and she pretty much embodies everything McCain claims Obama is: a politician with minimal experience.....

I'd write more, but I don't feel like reading up to get all of the facts, and then re-typing them on here. It's an interesting election. I'm sure (MC) Karl Rove has something up his dirty sleeve. Let's hope it doesn't work. This is just bad news bears all day.

C'mon Dave. If were are looking at matchups, Palin is perfect. Sure the experience factor kicks in but how can Obama "attack" inexperience without having any executive experience himself. If you want change and youth, now you have a choice in the voice of change. She brings a set of experiences that none of the other candidates can boast i.e. fighting against the Bridge to Nowhere and the GOP, childbirth...how can Biden attack her without coming across as a complete ass? This pick is completely out of the blue so any time or preparation that Obama's camp has dedicated to Romney or Ridge or whoever has just become a big waste of energy. Now they have two months to dig for dirt and then combine that into their overall campaign strategy. The Biden remark will haunt the Demos because you have what should be the protege as the Top of the Ticket whereas the GOP has the father figure guiding the fiery reformer from
America's largest state.
